Scorpio rules the mysteries of life and death —
transformation, regeneration, and hidden power. 🐍 ♏️
Decay and renewal —
what the alchemists called putrefactio —
the stage where matter (or ego) “dies”
so that new life can emerge. 🌑✨
The Ouroboros embodies this eternal cycle:
the serpent that devours itself (death, dissolution)
yet is nourished by itself (rebirth, regeneration).
Destruction and creation revealing an endless process. ♾️
🜍 In alchemy, the Ouroboros appears in the Nigredo —
the blackening phase ruled by Scorpio and Mars —
where the serpent turns upon itself,
consuming and renewing its own essence.
This is the hidden key of transformation. 🔥
From this mystery is born the Phoenix, the symbol for Scorpio’s highest evolution —
where the scorpion 🦂 transforms vengeance and venom —
into perception, wisdom, and regenerative power —
rising as the eagle 🦅, king of the sky.

The serpent has long been the keeper of the underworld,
wisdom, and raw power — healing and renewal —
from Eve’s serpent to Asclepius’ staff,
to Kundalini energy rising through the spine.
The Ouroboros mirrors Scorpio’s initiation through death —
the descent into shadow, the confrontation with mortality,
and the awakening of deep perception and regenerative power. 🌒
To die before we die, and rise anew. ✨
